As we near the end of National Police Week, we thought it would be appropriate to share this Legislative Proclamation in honor of Officer Christopher Farrar.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our fellow officer Chris Farrar #528.
Officer Farrar was an 18 year veteran of the Chandler Police Department and was killed in line of duty when he was struck by a suspect driving a stolen vehicle.
Our hearts go out to his family.

Five Year Plan Addresses Critical Police Staffing Shortages. The Chandler Law Enforcement Association (CLEA) and Chandler Lieutenants & Sergeants Association (CLASA) are recommending a five-year plan for an additional 83 sworn officers to address critical police staffing shortages in the City of Chandler. This would bring Chandler in line with other Valley agencies in a fiscally responsible way.
