Help Police K-9 Bronco Fight Brain Cancer

K9 Bronco has had a distinguished career with the Chandler Police Department as a dual purpose, Patrol and Narcotics police dog for over 5 years of service. Bronco was imported from the Netherlands and was purchased by the Chandler Police Department in 2012.

Unexpectedly, at 4:00 am on October 24th 2017, Bronco had a massive seizure in his kennel at home. 12 more excruciating seizures followed in the short time before he was rushed to a veterinarian. Bronco’s vet, who specializes in working dogs, was able to get the seizures under control before Bronco was rushed to the Animal Neurology & Imaging Center for an emergency MRI scan. The MRI determined Bronco had a tumor on the frontal lobe of his brain. The treatment plan is a week long and very expensive. Bronco’s prognosis looks great with treatment. Bronco was subsequently forced into retirement, and into the care of Officer Berner, his handler. As a result, a fundraiser is underway to ensure Bronco receives lifesaving care which will allow him to resume a normal and active life in retirement.

Please help us help K-9 Bronco by giving him the best chance of survival so he can live out the rest of his life enjoying retirement.
